Included in the venue hire cost:

• Lectern
• Administration costs, co-ordination, planning and execution of the wedding
• Full table set-up with top of the range cutlery, crystal glasses & white crockery
• Ice buckets & table numbers
• Tablecloths, napkins & beautiful upholstered chairs
• De Hoek Refresher on arrival as welcome drink
• Silver service: waiters who have been trained professionally by Michael
  

Excluded from the venue hire cost:

• Flower arrangements & candles
• Beverages
• Photographer
• Entertainment & music
• Guest accommodation
• 10% Gratuity on accommodation, food and beverage

4.  Accommodation Rates

If the Bride & Groom book 10 rooms at De Hoek Country House, their room will be complimentary for the night of their wedding (accommodation & breakfast basis).

Unless otherwise clearly stated by the Bride & Groom, De Hoek Country House will make the assumption that all costs (excluding in-room extras) incurred during your event will be billed to the master account, i.e for settlement by the Bride & Groom. De Hoek Country House, unless otherwise notified in writing, will bill each individual guest for in-room extras for settlement on departure.

The bar closes at 24:00. There will be an hourly charge of R2000.00 should the bar stay open later. The following charges will also apply after 24:00: R150.00 per manager per hour, R125.00 per head waiter per hour and R100.00 per waiter per hour.

7.  Terms & conditions

• Kindly note that De Hoek Country House welcomes children over the age of 12. Please ensure that your guests are aware of this when sending out your invitations.
• Room check in time is from 14:00 and check out time is at 11:00 & this we request to be adhered to
• In the interest of ensuring your wedding day is special, we respectfully advise that the dress code is semi-formal
• We request that you forward your final rooming list and itinerary to us no later than 2 weeks prior to the function
• In order to secure the booking we require a 50% deposit within 7 days of receipt of the contract. The balance of the amount to be settled 2 weeks prior to the wedding.
• It is De Hoek policy to add 10% gratuity to the final accommodation, food & beverage bill
• Any additional amount due by the Bride & Groom shall be payable to De Hoek Country House on departure
• De Hoek Country House reserves the right to cancel the Wedding should we not receive payment as stipulated in the contract.
• Parking is permitted in designated areas only, unless prior arrangements with management have been confirmed in writing
• All public areas, banqueting and conference areas are non-smoking areas as per Government Legislation
• We offer hot air balloon packages for wedding guests (weather permitting)
• Non resident guests are not permitted to visit guest rooms/bedrooms or areas reserved for resident guests only
